MESH Club, found on the second floor of the Trumpet building on Keyes Art Mile in Rosebank, has become a firm favourite for locals. Designed by award-winning interior architecture company, StudioA, MESH takes the concept of style and structure to new levels. Churchills
One of the first cigar and lounge bars to hit Joburg, Churchills takes inspiration from an upmarket British eatery and is a classy and sophisticated hang out spot in Melrose Arch. Rockets Lolita’s
Whether it’s afterwork drinks or a night on the town that you’re looking for, Lolita’s Bar and Lounge, at Rockets in Bryanston, is the place for you. With a completely separate menu than Rockets’ main dining room, Lolita’s offers food options from boards to share to meat dishes like pork belly bites, chicken kebabs and prawns wrapped in kataifi pastry. 011 Dainfern
011 Dainfern was launched by the same guys that brought us The Baron, only this time they wanted to create an upmarket dining experience that would serve residents living in and around Dainfern. Sin + Tax
Sin + Tax is Jozi’s best kept secret and a hidden gem for those dining out in Rosebank – purely because not many people know it exists. Tucked away behind Coalition pizzeria, Sin + Tax serves some of the most delicious cocktails in town. The space is incredibly small and intimate and the lighting is dark but their drinks menu changes from season to season. Some of the cocktails you can look forward to sipping on is the Paintbrush, featuring Inverroche Amber, grapefruit juice, MCC and thyme and the classic Negroni.
