From mini tarts and decadently filled pastries to macaroons and koeksisters, foodies and dessert lovers will get to indulge in all things sweet on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December at this year’s first ever Dessert Fest SA in the Mustang Room at Sally Mustang in Sandton.

Speaking about the delicious festival, Dessert Fest SA founder, Tammy Makadooj explains, “Realising there was no other festival or market dedicated to the art of that end-of-the-meal everyone loves, we decided to bring all our favourite dessert finds into one room and share them with Johannesburg! Get ready for a crazy variety of sugar… from crispy custardy donuts to SA’s traditional delicacies such as the koeksister or mini melkterties, and everything else in between, plus some surprising new additions to tantalise your sweet tooth.”
