Much excitement in the foodie world, and whatsapp notifications were buzzing wildly last week as Luxury Franschhoek guesthouse in Franschhoek, Le Petit Manoir shared the announcement that ex head chef of Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen’s Michelin-starred restaurant, JAN, in France will be opening up a new fine-dining restaurant in August. Kevin Grobler shares that Franschhoek has always been a special place for him and is part of the reason he made the move back to South Africa’s shores, brings a wide range of culinary skills and experience to the Le Petit Manoir’s kitchen after nearly three years at JAN, as well as stints at Terroir and Cavalli.
