Fans of the lovely African-inspired Moyo restaurant can now look forward to a new selection of delicious dishes as they’ve just launched their winter menu for this year.
This season, Moyo launches its annual tradition – a celebration of Africa’s finest urban cuisines, tailored to a variety of tastes. The exciting winter menu features mouthwatering items that cannot be found on the current à la carte menu and have all been custom-created to deliver a unique African experience.
Moyo, which provides a sophisticated dining experience with modern African ambiance, has ensured that there’s something for everyone on the new winter menu. And if you end up loving some of the dishes so much, you’ll be happy to know the most popular ones will be added to the next menu later this year.
The winter menu, which costs R185 per guest for a two-course meal and R225 per guest for a three-course meal, is tailored to accommodate a wide range of palates. The selection of starters are made up of the vegetarian Chef Ru’s red pepper soup; Bleddie warm chicken samoosas; fresh Mussels in curried coconut broth and North African-inspired Chermoula meat balls.
For mains, guests can choose between curried butternut lasagne, Line fish jollof, Morrocan chicken, Nyama na kumba – beef sirloin skewered with prawns – and Sticky glazed short ribs. As for dessert? Those with a sweet tooth will be spoiled for choice as options range between Mama’s sago crumble and the aptly named decadent chocolate brownies.
